CuraScript General Information & Frequently Asked Questions

CuraScript is a pharmacy that specializes in the dispensing of some high cost injectable and oral medications. These medications may be either self-administered or given by a physician in the office. CuraScript provides personalized support and valuable services that a local retail pharmacy may not be able to provide. If you want to learn more about CuraScript, visit their Web site at www.curascript.com.

In addition to medications, valuable services that CuraScript provides include:

  • Education and support for complex medical conditions. CuraScript's specially trained clinical teams, which include pharmacists and nurses, answer patient and physician questions about medications on an ongoing basis. The clinical staff also interacts with the physician's office when necessary.

  • Ancillary supplies such as syringes and needles are provided at no additional cost.

  • Because CuraScript dispenses specialty medications daily, there are few instances where a medication would need to be special ordered. Retail pharmacies might not stock these high cost medications, and if they are special ordered there might be a delay in the start of treatment.

  • CuraScript has a lot of experience with the handling and shipping of specialty drugs and has the ability to deliver the medication by the method that will ensure that the product arrives safely.
